I recently finished my 14 foot 40 inch Jon boat and i have done everything i wanted to do with it, its got a nice sized deck, an Eagle Fish-Easy Fish-finder, rod tie-downs, carpet, 9.9 hp Evinrude, 45 lb. thrust trolling motor, rod holders, and etc.

here are a few pics i took today

1 suggestion-finished edges

Finished edges make all the difference in the world when it comes to the "look" of how something is done.

also, I would HIGHLY suggest removing the carpet from the middle floor section of carpet and decking that area.  It keeps everything off of a wet floor.  The deck allows anchor drippings, etc to site BELOW your gear.

Take a look at this one and you'll see what I mean.  This will eliminate the lack of quite a few finished edges too, like the ones running up the gunnels.
