I just want to say that Mike @Siebert Outdoors makes some of the best looking jigs around. Check out the new batch of finesse Sniper jigs I just received from him today...they look sweet!!! Thanks a lot Mike and thanks for helping me come up with almost identical looking jigs to the two custom ones I wanted.

Those look great.  What I like about Mike is the fact that he will work with you make what your looking for in a jig or bait.

Their Chatterbait (fogy) anybody have any reviews on it?

Seibert always has good reviews, and I'm looking for better than chatterbait brand but don't want to drop $20 on jackhammers

I have a few and really like them! My only complaint is sometimes it takes a bit for the blade to start up. Not sure if it is due to the design or something I do it. Normally I give it a good jerk when I start the retrieve and I'm good.

I like the fogy better than strike king rage blade or the original chatterbait. They seem to stay down better and can be burned pretty fast before the blowout.  I’m sure every lure has it’s  pro’s and con’s but fogy’s work for me.

There are a lot of good hand tied jigs out there, but Mike's service and personal attention to each order is above the rest.

The Sniper jig is the best all around jig I've found. It's nearly impossible to hang one up.

*What sizes are you using : 3/16th oz. ,  5/16th oz. , or 7/16th oz. ?

Mine are all 5/16oz., figured I'd take the middle-ground :).

*I would probably elect to go with 5/16th oz. myself (1' to 12' water depth)  ... I'm sure the 3/16th oz. and 7/16th oz. have applications as well (depending on fall rate you wish to have , trailer effect on the jig head size , etc.)

5/16th is my go to size, but the bait monkey requires me to own multiples of every size. The 3/16th is good for beating the bank when I'm only fishing 2-4FOW.

*Bait Casting or Spinning ?
