What copolymer line do you use?

I have used Fluoroclear and Yo Zuri Hybrid myself. I did not like Fluoroclear, it handled poorly and had some line management issues that ends up looking like severe line twist, but this was on a casting rod. Switched to Yo Zuri Hybrid and never had that problem again.

 

As for fluorocarbon, I have no issues with knot strength. Yesterday I went to pull out a jerkbait that got wedged between two rocks and had to put my full body weight into it to try to break the knot just to get my line back and when I got it back, it looked like it didn't even break at the knot. This was on Berkley Trilene Fluorocarbon 15lb using a uni knot with 5 turns, if you want to give it a try.

Just tried Hi seas grand slam again. I had got some bout a month ago an hated it, but decided to give it another shot an pay close attention to taking my time with an wetting my line ( even though I thought I did 1st time) anyways I've had much better luck with this spool.

Another +1 for CXX. The stuff is stupid strong. You could easily go a size down, check out the diameter charts. It does have a decent amount of memory, though.

For my non-braid setups I use to be a dedicated Trilene XT guy but, the past couple of years I’ve been using P-Line Flouroclear and I’m a convert now.

Yo Zuri Hybrid. Gave it a try after all the recommendations for it and now that's all that I use.I still haven't added L&L to the spool, even without it, there are no issues casting or with line memory. PLine Floroclear is what I was using before but had a bunch of issues with the line breaking.

The only one I've ever tried is Yo-zuri Hybrid 6lb on a spinning setup. I'm impressed and plan to try some on my BC setups soon.

None. Berkley big game on my casting reels. Cheap strong and effective. I change it often

Still using up my 1- and 3-pound spools I got from Outlet Bait and Tackle when they were blowing them out around 2012. ? I use the 10 and especially 12 the most with casting gear for moving baits, with 6 goes on spinning rigs occasionally (I prefer braid). The 4 is unbeatable for ice fishing walleyes, if anyone is interested.

Another vote for Yozuri Hybrid. 8 lb on my spinning reels and 12 lb on my baitcasters.

Yo-Zuri Hybrid 6# on spinning gear chasing river smallmouth. Much prefer it over any mono, fluoro or braid that I've tried.

I must have bought a bad spool of Yo Zuri Hybrid a few years back. I really didn't like it, but to each their own.

 

I've been using Silver Thread Copoly since the early 90s. I really like the abrasion resistance when I'm fishing rocks for smallmouth, and it doesn't have the memory that some other lines have.

Yo Zuri Hybrid.   It may not be 'according to Hoyle' co-poly, but what is significant, is that it is great stuff....up to 12#....and amazing stuff with KVD line spray.

That's next on my list of lines to try.

 

Right now I am using Sufix Promix 6# for trout and it is excellent. I got snagged a couple of times and I find this stuff way harder to snap then my 8# Stren and Kastking Flourokote lines.
