BiggerWorm Posted May 25, 2008 Posted May 25, 2008 Hey, I thought about giving my boat a good cleaning over the menorial day week-end. What kind of wax do you guys use on your fiberglass boats. Do you think using the same wax (Turtle Wax) I use on my car would be O.K? Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted May 25, 2008 BassResource.com Administrator Posted May 25, 2008 I use Bow To Stern (BTS). Awesome, awesome stuff. I used to use 303, and was really happy with it - you can use it on fiberglass, vinyl, plastic, and rubber, and it works really well. But then I tried BTS, and expected the same results (hard to improve 303). But I tell you what, my boat looked brand spanking new after I applied it! I'm serious. I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it myself. You just have to try it to see what I'm talking about. If you can't find a bottle of BTS near you for this weekend, then hopefully there's some 303 you can use instead. Then order BTS online and try for yourself. Glenn Quote
jhoffman Posted May 25, 2008 Posted May 25, 2008 Im no wax expert but I would think marine wax would hold up longer. If you got no other option use meguiers. Quote
Super User Jig Man Posted May 25, 2008 Super User Posted May 25, 2008 Bass Boat Saver. I have replaced 5 products with this stuff. I clean the boat, motor, windshields, trailer, wheels, and the truck dash. It is an all in one product. Quote
