Sharkbite Posted May 23, 2008 Posted May 23, 2008 Hey guy's I am picking up a 12' jon boat with a 9 HP motor. A great friend found it for me. It dosn't have a trailer but I need one. I've been searching the net and local papers but seems all the trailers are sold with the boats. I live in Phillipsburg NJ about 60 miles north of Philadelphia. Picking up wold not be a problem as long as it's not to far. So if you know some one getting rid of a trailer or even a location around the area that sells them new and used please contact me. Thank You Quote
Super User burleytog Posted May 23, 2008 Super User Posted May 23, 2008 Call BPS in Harrisburg and see what they've got. Quote
Popeye Posted May 23, 2008 Posted May 23, 2008 Try Ebay and your local Craig's List. You might find one on there in your area. Quote
Wilson Posted May 23, 2008 Posted May 23, 2008 I picked one up last night I saw a rather ugly and rotten boat for sale with a trailer so I asked if I could just buy the trailer and got it cheap. Quote
Sharkbite Posted May 23, 2008 Author Posted May 23, 2008 Wilson are you looking to sell the trailer? Quote

Sharkbite Posted May 24, 2008 Author Posted May 24, 2008 Hey Thanks alot I have found a few that are on e bay and not to far away. I am watching them to see if they stay in my price range that trailer is nice but to much $$$, That trailer would coast 3X the amount I am paying for the baot. I also have found one in Harbor Freight here check it out OK http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=5002 Quote
alabamabassmaster Posted May 24, 2008 Posted May 24, 2008 I have a 14ft Jon Boat and this is the trailer I bought for it. This trailer will work on Jon boats and small fiberglass boats from 8ft - 16ft. You can adjust the piece the bow sits on for the different lengths. http://www.academy.com/index.php?page=content&target=products/outdoors/marine/trailering&start=6&selectedSKU=0101-01755-0001 Quote
