Looking to get a good all around rod to replace my st croix mojo bass. I had it for awhile now , was actually my first baitcasting rod ever.. I want to upgrade a little and get one of those 3. A 7ft+ MH/F rod for all around use (ex) chatterbaits, jigs, T-rigs etc. anyone know how each performs? And sensitivity etc. sadly our local tackle stores don’t have any of these models to try out.

Upgrade to the Avid AVC 7" MF.  I think you will like M better than MH as an all-around rod.

St. Croix Medium is equivalent to most other brands Medium Heavy.

Call Alex at ALX, they offer rods in 1/2 power increments depending on the application.

Really?  Well crap.  Wish I had know this.

Is your current Mojo Bass the original SCII version or the newer SCIII version?  If it’s the SCIII then the Avid isn’t really going to be a significant upgrade.

My mojo bass is about 4-5 years old so I’m guessing the old version

Just ask to talk to Alex, he is the president and knows all his rods (rod builder).Tell him what you currently are using and what you are looking for so he can suggest a rod to suit your needs.

Wouldn't do me any good to know Alex's last name because I couldn't pronounce it anyway. :D
