Two of us are heading to the Greenbrier in May with kayaks. Interested if anyone knows if there is some sort of shuttle service or means of transportation that can assist us while we’re there. We can drive to one location and drop in so we just need a ride back to our truck. Any recommendations would be great. Thanks

I doubt there is any shuttle services for the Greenbrier River but you could find some, or even outfitters and guides for the New River..

Thanks RHuff.

Plan to be in the area for about 4 days. Staying right in Hinton WV area so I’m game to fish the New River as well, I’m just not familiar with either area so thought any advice on here will be for the best.

There's a good bait & tackle store in Hinton and they're a great bunch of people to deal with, I don't know if I can say there name here or not, PM me if you want it. Stop in and talk to them, I'm sure if they can help you out or give you some information, they will.

I've been in there several times and they're a great folks have a very nice selection.

You could always get Burt Reynolds to find a couple local boys at the filling station to shuttle your car........

I would ask some of the local outdoor places because I recall hearing (years ago) that there were shuttle services that assisted hikers.

I have floated part of the Greenbrier before as I am from West Virginia. We would always Park one car at the end of our run and one car at the beginning. It takes a couple of extra hours sometimes but it's so much easier not having to worry about a ride.

The store that is referencing is called PC Outdoors located in Hinton, WV. Good group of folks. Tell them you are out of town visiting and they will treat you right. Very up-to-date with the Greenbrier and New Rivers and well as Bluestone Lake.

Did you ever find any that can help you with the shuttle?
