Has anyone ever tried the mj rig on the back of a Ned Rig before? What about on the back of a trailer on a chatterbait? I've heard of people using them on the end of a weightless senko but for some reason adding one to the back of the Ned Rig seems interesting to me.

What is an MJ rig? I've had good success using a Ned rig on the bottom of a drop shot instead of using a weight. It seems to double my odds.

MJ RIG? Micheal Jordon rig maybe? I never herd of it either, or this version of another?

It's a small willow-leaf blade on a barrel swivel with the other end being one of those worm-screws. You screw it into the tail-end of the worm and it adds flash.

The way TRD worm floats up off the bottom I think that willow blade might restrict it's actions. Probably better off on bigger worms like senkos, flick shake, Zoom trick worm, etc.

Unless you're using the TRD on a drop-shot...that might help some.

MJ Rig....pfft   (No offense to the OP; today's marketing guys just kill me).

Some history...

I agree. Anything to sell more baits.

I have seen a few people trying the z man modification on a couple lakes locally. I still don't see a purpose for it.

If I am fishing a ned rig, It is because the bite is tough and nothing else is working. in that circumstance I want the subtle action of the zinkerz or trd tail. a spinner hinders that.

If I am looking for more flash, there are a lot better baits. ie. spinnerbait, chatterbait,or underspin.

Just order these from Ken at KC Injection Baits. Body color & tail color are made to order. Order with no salt & they will stand up.
