The DRT Klash 9, 9" 3.3 oz floater and 4 oz sinking, and the Tiny Klash 6.6", 2 oz is one swimbait that has been out of reach since 2015. Oh, I could get one off Ebay for $250+, but I will not give them the satisfaction. The Klash is made by DRT (Division Rebel Tackles) in Japan, and they can't even keep them stocked over there. My friend, Hohyeong Kang, sent me a picture of his latest catch using the Klash, and my mouth watered. If you're a swimbait fanatic and you have one, consider yourself lucky.

Yeah, they were about to come back in stock at TW and then all of the sudden the company was removed from the site entirely. I'm hoping a couple sites that carry their baits surprise me and still get a shipment in a few weeks. Agree $250 is steep, but it is one of the rare baits I'd be happy to pay retail for.

$250 for a K9?! Someone is doing some serious bait flipping. I had a K9 but didn't like it much. I'd like to get a TK but haven't pulled the trigger yet. Not sure what color I want and have some more pressing purchases to make first.

I got mine when the first came out, the TK for 60 bucks on black friday sale at TW, the K9 off someone on a forum.

I paid $60 for my K9. I've got a connection stationed in Japan though. Going to get a TK before he finishes his tour.

They're definitely a cool bait to play around with. The modular design of the bait allows you to "play" more than other baits currently on the market.

Don't get fooled though, they're not kicking them out at full capacity. They're doing what a lot of companies do by manufacturing interest and hype by controlling supply. It's quite transparent.

Bumping this. I bought the DRT Tiny Klash 6 6 at a pawn shop today and neither myself nor the seller could read the writing to tell what it was. I had no idea what I was buying, just thought it looked cool. Got it for $25, perch pattern. I'm assuming this is NOT the model that's $250 ?

It seems like there are various tails/lips you can use? I seem to have the V tail. How do people fish these? Wake? Crank? I'd test  out it but it is frozen up here.

I don't know if you'd get $250 for it, but I bet you'd get $150 pretty easily.

How do people fish these? Wake? Crank?  Yes, add in twitching like a jerkbait, stop and go like a crank, it's a really versatile bait, part of why it's so sought after.
