OnthePotomac Posted April 16, 2019 Posted April 16, 2019 As a chemical engineer friend of mine said to me, why would any one want to add kerosene to their gas? It is not JP4 jet fuel, just kerosene. As a chemical engineer he believes the fuel products are huge profits for these companies the benefits of which are highly questionable. Then he jokingly adds "what do I know I only do this for a living". Quote
Goldstar225 Posted April 16, 2019 Posted April 16, 2019 Ethanol free gas + stabil for many years. I use seafoam to run through the fuel systems for cleaning. Quote
The Maestro Posted April 16, 2019 Posted April 16, 2019 Here, Shell V-Power does not contain ethanol. Once I made the switch I never looked back. My snowblower which used to give me problems with starting, runs smoother than ever and starts on the first pull after 6 months sitting idle. Boat and car run way better too. As for additives, I'm a bit skeptical. The only thing I'll use is a stabilizer when it's going to sit for long periods. Quote
