Super User PhishLI Posted March 15, 2019 Super User Posted March 15, 2019 Tat SV. I wasn't sure about it at first. Now it's fantastic. Maybe it was the re-lube and it needed to break in? Maybe it was just me figuring it out? I was chucking 1/4oz minnows last night on 12lb copoly into the wind. No problemo. Good thing that I had the heavier line spooled on as it got chomped by a huge pickeral. If for whatever reason I'm limited to just one reel, this is it. Quote
Pikeman12 Posted March 15, 2019 Posted March 15, 2019 My shimano sustain 2500fl. Such a smooth reel. Quote
Largies4Life Posted March 15, 2019 Posted March 15, 2019 If I had to choose today, Daiwa Tatula SV. I picked up the Chronarch MGL, Lew's Team Mag Pro off the Christmas TW Sale, and a Daiwa Ballistic LT over the course of the winter. My mind might change after I get my hands on those new reels this season... Quote

Whenever I try I wind up with a list longer than I'd like. New-2-me not long ago and headed toward the top: Older Steez and Exsence DC. Ones with more use: Zillion 50th Anniversary, PXL Type R, Primmus, Helios Air, TD-Z 105H New in box, but don't see how it could miss my 'favorites' list. Super User A-Jay Posted March 16, 2019 Super User Posted March 16, 2019 I have a few favorites reels. But truth be told, my favorite just may be whichever one I happen to be using whenever I'm connected directly to one of these ~ In this case - it was a round one. A-Jay 7 Quote
