I have a basic question.  While using the "fishing" chart on my Garmin on my home lake, I get clear contour lines.  My question - I know the "full pool" level and have access to the "current pool" level, do I have to adjust the Garmin for the difference, or does it adjust the contours on the map automatically?  If I have to do it manually, where is the setting located?  Thanks in advance.

This feature is called Dynamic Lake Level.  You need the LakeVu g3 Ultra accessory map card for this feature.

Thanks Todd.  I just have the mapping software that came with the unit, which I am otherwise happy with.  Any option other than spending the extra $140 or so in order to get accurate contours?  Also, could you recommend a source for purchase.  Are the maps regional, U.S./Canada, ??  And thanks again for the response.  Nick
