928JLH Posted March 13, 2019 Posted March 13, 2019 Wouldn't use it for squarebill, lipless, small cranks, small top water, and jerkbait. Treble hook baits. The exception is how heavy the grass is in for lipless or if the cover is pretty thick when bumping a squarebill around. 1 Quote
Super User Catt Posted March 13, 2019 Super User Posted March 13, 2019 Some of y'all are spoiled! I've caught tons of bass on a Johnson's Spoon in the lily pads on this setup spooled with 20# mono. Frogs on a 7' MF/F would be easy ? 4 Quote

I too made it work for everything, and didn't know any different. When you learn on an outfit like this, you really appreciate a nice fast, light graphite rod no matter how long it is! 1 Quote
Super User WRB Posted March 14, 2019 Super User Posted March 14, 2019 The Featherlite handle weighs more then today's rods. Tom 2 Quote
