We had our first club tourney yesterday and it turned out amazing.  As some of you know my boat has been acting up since December and as I found out yesterday it hasn't stopped!!  I was able to use it five times this time before things reared their ugly head ....so back to the shop Monday.

Anyway...done whining.....I'm still blessed.

Day started well....other than they dropped the water so much that we all had trouble launching!!  But I was finally one of those guys that figured out the fish when everyone else had a tougher day.  I was blessed to weigh in 18 plus pounds on a local lake while the best the rest of the club had was just over five pounds.  Had four smallies and one LMB.  Biggest smallie went just over five...was truly an amazing day.  And while my partner struggled he did manage in the last five minutes to put a five plus pound LMB in the boat for smiles all around....was a great day other than having to clean the boat out again and take to shop.  Oh....the funny part...I got big fish by .01 over his LMB....amazing.

Sounds like you had a great tournament. Now if they can just get your boat sorted out. ?

Thank you all for the kind comments....I just got my boat back again and and and my fingers are crossed.  The people who are doing the fixing have been awesome....this boat has been one heck of a challenge.

Wow! Nice thing about tournaments is you know, in the end, whether there were fish biting. Even better when you get to be the bearer of the news. :) Congrats on a great day.
