What do you guys like to pack to sustain yourselves for a day on the water?  I usually grab a calorie dense breakfast on the way.  I'll pack sandwiches, fruits, granola bars, Gatorade, a Redbull, 3-4 frozen water bottles (double as ice packs + have ice cold water to drink all day) and last year I started bringing 2-3 hard boiled eggs for a quick protein boost throughout the day.

Coffee, water, generic breakfast bars and cigars....rarely anything else.  And as often as not, I forget to eat the bars

I’ll do the Gatorades and waters, no Red Bull for me though. I may pack a few Pepsi’s.

For snacks, anything that I don’t have to touch with my hands. I can hold a cheese stick by the wrapper. Or something like cashews in a plastic baggy or a slim gas station tube to put up over my mouth.

I dont know why, but I have a thing about my hands on food even though I take wipes and wipe them off.

Same here. I don't eat the bars, either. Nor the cigars.    jj

I always take a package of Jack Link's Beef Jerky, a box of Nabisco Wheat Thins, some Welch's Fruit Snacks, a couple bottles of BODYARMOR SuperDrink, and a gallon of water.

Protein, carbs, salt, sugar, water, and vitamins, without being terribly unhealthy. Vital for staying healthy in the heat.

I always have a small bag or 2 of Diamond Wasabi and Soy Sauce Almonds and a few Gatorades.

I do a lot of trips that are 2-4 hours. For these trips I only take water or Sweet tea.

For the all day trips, A breakfast biscuit, usually bacon , egg , and cheese . For lunch A ham or turkey samwich or 2 , A snicker bar, some kind of chips or nabs. All the major food groups there ? ,And I relish a cold coke zero for the trip home.

One small cooler, ice, couple bottled waters, one half sammich (PB&J for keeping it simple, or a roast beast for fancy), an occasional beef jerky, an occasional additional beverage can.

Reason for the half sammich is because by tradition the first half gets eaten on the way to the launch.

Tried the cigar on the boat once but between the wind and the thought of combustible gas vapors, it made what should be a relaxing process anything but. Now I save that for back at camp in the evening while remembering how I caught a PB that day. Well, some day anyway...

Cashews, peanuts, breakfast bars, water and powerade. If fishing with wife and taking shore excursions then sub sandwiches, chips, lawn chairs and beer??

I make deer jerky and pepper sticks in the winter. One of the two are always in my cooler for a snack, while fishing.

Boudin!  ?

If I were in your boat, not much fishing would be going on. I would be eating all of your Boudin.

even though I am a midwesterner, I love cajun food.

Most people have no idea what boudin is cause if did they would throw everything listed above in the trash!

Boudin, crackers, & sharp cheddar cheese is lunch not snacks.

Everytime I have been in Louisiana, I have eaten my share. Good Boudin is hard to find around here. A few restaurants try, but they don't quite get it.

How many days are some of you out there? ?

For an all day trip (9 hrs or so) I will take a Dr Pepper (breakfast) a snickers (lunch) and a beer or 2 in the afternoon.

In the early season colder weather- vegetable soup and crackers. Hot weather- can't eat too much so maybe a light sandwich and Hershey bar. Coffee is mandatory at all times!

Mostly water, some gatorade, and cheese and pb crackers, cheese sticks, sunflower seed kernals, and beef jerky

During spring, summer, and fall? Every morning and every evening, Monday through Friday, all day, every day on weekends. Several requested weekdays off as well. I think I sleep 4 hours a day during fishing season.

It was a joke, I thought the emoji would give it away. Apparently not.  :wall1:

I just thought it was a good time to subtly scream out for intervention.

No intervention needed, if I didn't have 32 kids (actually 4) I would be there everyday.

Mountain Dew....oh you were expecting more? Nope! Mountain dew was life, is life, and always will be life. the only thing that beats it, is fishing.

Rarely do I fish 8-10 hours without a lunch break. Getting old means prioritizing health before fun. If I'm fishing long hours I will pack a sandwich, usually turkey and cheese, a pack of peanut butter crackers, water and Gatorade, not to mention a banana. Yea, I said it..banana on a boat. No silly superstitions for me. Except for my lucky underwear, worn on the outside of my pants.
