James Niggemeyer Posted February 19, 2019 Posted February 19, 2019 Was think about what historically produces better than average quality fish and in my opinion these are the Top 3 "traditional" baits that consistently produce better than average fish during the pre spawn period. Thanks for watching! 7 2 Quote

Super User Choporoz Posted February 19, 2019 Super User Posted February 19, 2019 What are the 3? I would need to think a bit, but I am pretty sure that jig and chatterbait are 2 of my 3. Quote
Super User scaleface Posted February 19, 2019 Super User Posted February 19, 2019 Spinnerbait and jig definitely . I prefer a lipped crank over the lipless though . Who is this guy anyhow ? Some wannabe ? ? 1 Quote

Super User Bankbeater Posted February 19, 2019 Super User Posted February 19, 2019 I do much better fishing with moving baits this time of year. Lipless crankbaits, shallow running crankbaits, and spinnerbaits catch most of my bass. Nice video! Quote
deadadrift89 Posted February 21, 2019 Posted February 21, 2019 Thanks James, great to see ya on forum. I've always got a jig on and either spinnerbait or bladed jig depending on cover. Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted March 2, 2020 Super User Posted March 2, 2020 Well, the Alabama Rig is banned at the professional level, but EVERYONE else should have one tied on in the spring. 1 Quote

I've never used it. I don't even know my own state's laws on the matter but I've been told it's banned in some states. Quote

Minnesota allows up to 3 hooks on one line...but the total, combined distance between hooks cannot exceed 9". So I could rig a 3-bait A-Rig with 3" runs from the core...kind of useless really. 1 Quote
