I'd be surprised if he ever got another coaching job to be completely honest.

Wentz has generally been the better quarterback, but at the same time there is no way that he could have done what Foles that year in the last two games to get to and win the Super Bowl either. On the flipside, they may have not even made the postseason with Foles playing the rest of the year. Now I'm not saying Wentz is junk and not worthy etc I am just saying there is no way he could have did what Foles did on that given year -- he is still young and learning etc.

The other thing to consider that contributed to the Eagles winning the division is the Cowboys mid season self-destruction. We both know the Cowboys are overrated, but what happened there? I must admit even I'm a little surprised.

The Ravens are a better defensive team but when balls start flying, it's Mahomes game.

As a Pats fan, I can't see them beating Baltimore or KC this year, especially after losing home field to the Chiefs but I don't think it would have been enough. I'm extremely worried about Tennessee.

Did you happen to not notice what he did all year long?  He was the most dominant QB in the game that season until he was injured.  Foles had zero playoff success prior to that run so to say that he couldn't have done it is comical really.

As far as the Cowboys are concerned, they didn't self destruct at all.  They couldn't beat a team with a winning record, plain and simple.  They beat up on cupcakes, much like the patriots did, early in the season.  When they faced teams that could play, they got smoked and it exposed them as frauds.  I think the Cowboys only had one win against a team with a winning record all season.

Baltimore is a tough team all around.  NFC is wide open.

Yes I did, but at the same time you have to understand how improbable it would have been for Wentz to put up the same performance. Foles put up two games in the playoffs (a situation where Wentz has to prove he can play at all in) that were better than any games Wentz had to date in his entire career. If Foles was any less spectacular in the final two games, the Eagles would not have made the Super Bowl let alone won it. The odds of Wentz being able to step into the same situation and do the same thing are near zero. It would be like the Patriots putting in Drew Bledsoe at the final drive of the first Super Bowl. You have to understand that. It's not about Foles lack of prior success, it's about what he actually did that season (which is still more than anything Wentz has done in the postseason, but I'm not saying that's necessarily Wentz's fault either).

I would say the Cowboys did self destruct somewhat. They are a very poorly coached team as well, which doesn't help anything. But I would call only 10 points against New Orleans or 9 against the Patriots (who I will be the first to tell you are a good defense but not nearly as good as most people think) self-destructing when they needed 13 to win or tie. They played worse against Buffalo, who can't seem to beat the Patriots but Josh Allen looked like Steve Young in his prime that game.

I was actually at the Pats Cowboys game (my first Pats game too). The Pats made a handful of decent plays but that game was decided on the Dallas' bad play. They even had time for a down the field bomb and Prescott throws it to the guy with three defenders closing in from downfield on him and no where to go, has to be one of the worst "hail mary" type plays I have ever seen.

Foles did nothing special at all in both the Atlanta and Minnesota Games really.  The defense bailed him out against Atlanta and in Minnesota they only allowed 7 points.  He did play well in the super bowl obviously.  I completely understand what you are saying about Foles doing what he did but you assume that Wentz couldn't have done what he continued to do all season long.  Foles did something out of the ordinary for him but that is the norm...doesn't make sense but whatever, I got to go to a parade.

Prescott isn't that good, thankfully, and he is really kicking himself for not signing that deal early in the season.  His agent might be even more mad though lol

What? Foles threw for 352 yards on 33 attempts in the Minnesota game, 3 TDs and 0 picks with a passer rating of 141, even better than the Super Bowl. Wentz hasn't equaled that game in his entire career by many aspects, never threw for 352 yards in a single game, and his personal high, 348 was on 45 attempts. I guess they weren't losing that one either way, but Foles had a fire under his ass that year.

And any Cowboys player since Emmitt Smith retired has really been that good. They have a long standing history of having overrated players who can't perform under pressure or whatever, like Tony Romo who in terms of stats was great but couldn't make a game winning/tying drive to save his life.

Saints simply have a monkey on they're back but give credit to the Vikings defense.

I picked Tennessee simply by the way the Patriots slid and ofcourse HENRY. lol

Well, the 'Hawks are done for the year.  Most of the starters are out with season ending injuries, and they have no depth. They will lose the next 2 games and be done. There simply isn't enough talent on the team to absorb that many injured players.

Well I stand corrected.  A few injured players have made their way back onto the field, and Lynch has, quite honestly, pleasantly surprised me.

Onward to Greenbay!

If they can run and Metcalf has another big game, they can win @ GB.

Surprisingly Seattle could host if they and Vikings both win.

I actually thought New Orleans was a better team than Green Bay even though Green Bay is the higher seed.  Wouldn't surprise me to see Seattle beat the Packers but it would surprise me to see the Vikings pull off another big upset in SF.

As for the Patriots, the dominant Belicheck/Brady era may finally be over.  They're probably still good enough to win their division again but beyond that, I doubt it.

Clowney is a classless piece of trash who loves cheap shots.  He should have been penalized at the very least for his cheap shot that put wentz out.  Classic Pete Carrol stuff though as he is a dirty coach and allows this stuff to happen.  That being said, they are gonna get creamed by Green Bay.  The Eagles with a 40 year old back up QB and practice squad players all over the field still had a chance to win and I have no doubt that if Wentz didn't get knocked out by a cheap shot, they blow them out.  I do like Wilson and he is a baller for sure.

Now I am pulling for KC...I'd like to see the walrus get over the hump.

He's a 6'3" 247lb beast, that's for sure.

Vrabel coaching a splendid game, team executing to a T.

BTW, I didn't mean he was immature, sorry if it came out that way. Simply a young man playing big boy football. I should have chosen better words.

Didn't take it that way. Was agreeing with you that he's a beast...man-child :D .

Amazing running back.

Titans made a strong case tonight.....

Titans playing old school, smash mouth football. Run, run, and then run again. Nobody wants to tackle that runaway freight train. Defense playing well, and Tannehill doing just enough and making smart decisions to help and not hurt his team. If KC wins tomorrow, that's going to be a TOUGH AFC Championship game that I do not like the Chief's odds in. Their defense is much improved, except in run defense, and that could be a 6'3" 247lb problem.

The narrative that Henry is going to "wear down" I think is a bit worn out at this point too.

Amazing and unexpected game results. And I was sure the Ravens would probably take the trophy this year. The plot thickens....
