Dumping him didnt save them any money.  As long as gronk stayed retired they dont have to pay the last year of his deal.  They got extra pics outta the deal.

Not many players are worthy of that type of money, i can only think of a handful that early in their career i would have considered a 10 year deal, but he is one of them/  Eliminates all types of distractions.

Now we get to see how Jerrry handles the Day contract situation....any ground they had in negotiations just got shot to hell

I wish I could just not see how Jerry handles anything but we all know ESPN and Ed werder won’t let that happen

Still has 2 years left on his contract so it's technically a 12 year deal plus incentives for reaching the AFC Championship game and winning MVP.

 

Hopefully they'll figure something out with Chris Jones in the next week now that Mahomes deal is done and they know how much money they have to work with.

Definitely need the LB group and defensive backs to play better pass defense and make more solid tackles early season than they did last year, they seemed to be getting it together round about the playoffs last year.
