was thinking about heading over to my local BPS this morning but.....one day into the “BIG SALE” and the INVIZX is already out of stock. smh

The one I went to was a big store and they were cleaned out of allot of stuff that was on sale by 11:30 and they opened at 10. They were trying to restock. It was a madhouse.

I went to the one by me to load up on bitsy bug jigs $1.79 but they weren’t on sale. You can clearly see them on sale on page 10 on the link above sandwiched between the rage craws and the TRD’s. The guy at the store didn’t have a clue.

That "In Store Availability" has been helpful. It gives me the purpose of going or not.

drove the 60 miles because they had the boat seats i wanted> first guy said they were out, asked a second he looked on computer and had only 3. this was second day of sale at 1030 in the morning. Also out of several lines and baits so didnt buy much. Went home and ordered online what i wanted with free home delivery with 50.00  next year will go see what want when over there and order on line when sale starts, that place is a gold mine if they got themselves organized.

Well I know everyone likes to bash BPS, and sometimes they deserve it, but for me not this time.

 

I went to the BPS in Independence, MO Saturday morning.  Store wasn't crowded.  Snow may have something to do with that.  They had everything I wanted and lots of it.

 

Bought $350 worth of line, umbrella rigs, swim baits, few new wiggle warts some other garbage.  Even picked up a couple of the Pro Qualifier bait casters.  Don't normally buy inexpensive reels, but at $50 each had to try 'em.

 

BS'ed for 30 minutes with a buddy i met in the store, went up to pay.  Two in line ahead of me. 

 

In and out in an hour.

 

Did overhear one conversation about the Lowrance 9ti's they on sale.  They sold 71 Friday, and had two left in stock on Saturday.  Guess if you wanted one, you'd be PO'ed.

 

Rare as it is.  Good job to BPS.

Yeah I went to that store Friday morning and did my best to clear them out of the 832 and InvizX they had on sale LOL

I went to the store in utica ny. Bought an elite9 ti. Also got a small hook 2 to put on my trolling motor. Sat through a lowrance seminar. Planned on ice fishing Saturday until I got that flyer after work friday. Been watching for a good deal on a decent fish finder.

One thing I will say as a negative is that the lowrance guy who did the seminar was also behind the counter when i bought my fish finders. I asked if the fish reveal feature was available on the ti units, and he said no, it's only on ti2 and hds units. I saw you tube videos saying otherwise but thought I might be mistaken. As soon as I had the ti on wifi, it said that updates were available. I download the updates and there it was. Fish reveal. I'm kind of disturbed that the guy giving lowrance seminars didn't know that.

I went this week and nothing I bought was on sale!!! Idiot. I wanted some jigheads for Ned rigs but the BPS version was all sold out and I'm cheap. I'll try again.

Same here on the opposite coast. Mushroom jig heads for neds were on the list, but not in the store. Going back today to pick up an item that came in so hoping they've restocked.
