Heading out to Vegas to visit my inlaws at the end of march. Was thinking of taking my kayak and doing a a little fishing on lake mead. Any advice on where to launch and fish, baits to use? Its a big lake and I'm on a kayak so I will need to be able to stay relatively close to the launch point. Or perhaps its still too windy to be out on a kayak. I don't know. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hello @Kevin Johnson, welcome to Bass Resource and the Forums! I’m not sure of length of your stay or amount of time you can dedicate to fishing that big lake.  I’d really suggest speaking with a guide to maximize your time on the water. Hopefully, some of the other guys can recommend a Vegas area guide. Have a safe trip and good fishing.
