1996 Lowe complete restore

Well I finally decided it was time to restore the boat. I started out stripping all the old carpet. What a mess.

I could only fit a 6'6" rod in the rod locker so,

Started to lengthen the rod locker. 

I wish I would have taken more before pictures.  I will continue to post pics along the way

Rod locker is finished. I can fit  up to an 8' rod in there.

Step box is built

My next step will be fabricating a hatch in front of the live well.  There will be battery storage underneath this hatch.  I will reinforce the brackets under the hatch lid. A seat post will be placed in the middle of the hatch lid.

I got the new console done.  There will be a hatch on the front to access my fuse box

There will be battery storage underneath the seat pedestal. I used reinforced aluminum with plenty of bracing for this hatch.

Only a few more things to do. I still have some wood on the back deck to remove. I'm going to move the biliage hatch back about 2 inches.  I have to make brackets for the recessed trolling motor tray and a few other little things

Finally got the boat back from my buddy's shop. Started doing a little carpeting and put the carbon fiber vinyl on the console. I'm padding the front and the back deck, which will allow me to recess the latches and make them flush.
