pbw Posted March 22, 2008 Posted March 22, 2008 Tdoay try out the boat it worked great. As you see I took a 2nd battery in case I stayed out all day but I didnt. (front seat is way too high! I have yet to return it to bps, the lowest setting I can't touch my feet on the decking and I'm 6 ft tall!) My other thread on this boat http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1199753426/0 Quote
Super User Grey Wolf Posted March 22, 2008 Super User Posted March 22, 2008 excelliant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Quote
Super User Micro Posted March 22, 2008 Super User Posted March 22, 2008 WOW, that looks really good! Does it rock when you're on that seat? Don't accidentally touch your legs to the battery terminals. I'd put that battery in a battery box. How is that little Briggs and Stratton engine? They sort of have a cult following here because they are air cooled you can take then through mucky water with no worries. Quote
M-Gunner Posted March 22, 2008 Posted March 22, 2008 Looks good ....Great Job !!! I'm trying to deck out my VHull. Talking about a fun project. Quote
Bob Kavanaugh Posted March 22, 2008 Posted March 22, 2008 Looks great. Seems as though you bought a seat pole designed for the pro style seats huh? Quote
bucketmouth8 Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 I like your boat. How did you secure your oar to the front of your rear bench? I have been looking for some kind of snap clip to hold mine but no such luck so far. Just wondering. Quote

That is my spare battery I took today incase fish were biting. LOL at touching battery terminals. I like the b&s so far. Quote

thetr20one Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 I really like how large you made the front deck, looks like plenty of room. just get ya a pro-style seat sn it would be perfect. NICE JOB111 Quote
Olebiker Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 Is that McNeely Lake? Yup. My wife and I spent a lot of evenings while we were in high school watching the "submarine races" at McNeely Lake. That was back in the 60s. Quote

XcoM274 Posted March 25, 2008 Posted March 25, 2008 I like it LBH. Perhaps we need a special sticky thread for that too lol. I have cabin fever sooo bad right now, I'm going ice plowing out on lake Huron tomorrow. Hehehehe. We'll see if I can pull some smallies out of 28 degree water. Only in a Team Red boat. Quote
MA1232 Posted April 19, 2008 Posted April 19, 2008 The boat look great! And from the video it seem very stable. What is your painting process and paint type? I like that red color too! Quote
abelfisher Posted April 20, 2008 Posted April 20, 2008 That is awesome! You might consider putting a 13" pedestal on that rear seat. Then you partner could swivel all around and fish off the back, etc. Otherwise it looks like it could be limiting and confining. Don;t mean to criticize. maybe you do have one for that. But That is quite a beauty! ;)Great, professional looking job! Congrats! Quote
