Still on this side of the green.

Seven years ago I went with radiation and with seeds what ever that is.  I recently found out I have kidney problems, one is operating at 90% the other one seems dead there not sure. It’s full of stones. My bladder isn’t releasing all my water. Seems the radiation burned it while killing the cancer. There going to inject Botox in my bladder to fix it. I asked will I look 20 years younger? Lol

my point is get your prostates checked often. Post prostate cancer get your kidney and bladder functions checked.

From a fellow C survivor, thanks for the reminder to have that stuff checked out. Good luck with everything, even with looking younger..?

Big Bill, thanks for the reminder.

Let me add that it is also imperative that all of us get a skin cancer check once a year.

My dermatologist has me totally undress and she checks out everything.

You get skin cancer at the weakest part of the skin and not just on top of your ears or on your face and hands.

Lost a good friend to skin cancer as the melanoma was on the bottom of his foot. By the time his doctor sent him to a dermatologist it was too late.

So far I have had the basal cells removed on the tops of my ears twice.

I just found your post.  Glad you are recovering and still here.  I would add to get your heart checked, too.  Found out I had 90% blockage in the "widow maker" with only a back ache.  Routine screen led to surgery the next morning. I would have likely been dead in 6 months without that screening.

Get heart, prostate, skin, routine labs, and metabolic panel checked.   Eat like you have some sense (cut the grease , sugar and fast food, sodas, and refined carbohydrates), drink moderately, don't drink or text and drive, exercise, use a seat belt, don't smoke, don't run around with married women...  lot's of advice I got that cut down on life's enjoyment, in order to live longer.

Take vitamins, fish oil, vit D, and baby aspirin.  Getting old sucks, but I still have fun.  Good luck.

Big Bill, just had my annual physical and my PSA is .02.

Doctor is amazed so no manual check this year.

Watching the PSA and if it jumps higher we have a problem.

Still glad you are doing well.
