OCdockskipper Posted April 12, 2019 Posted April 12, 2019 Walters Menendez Combs Prince Hudnall You may have noticed that you moved up in the standings, even if you had only an average start today. Historically, back to back tournaments in the middle of the year mean about 10% of the participants will forget to set their lineup for the 2nd tournament. We had 8 people who had not missed an event fail to set a lineup in time for this weeks tournament, including a couple of guys who were in our top 10 (BMci84 & stratoliner92). On a side note, currently our top 2 point leaders (Odell015 & Bigfishadventures78) are in the top 50 for the entire contest (39th & 45th respectively). Pretty darn good out of 23,500 entrants. 1 Quote
Dangerfield Posted April 12, 2019 Posted April 12, 2019 Zaldain really dropped off, I got 3 in the top 20 (#10, #15, #20). What's the cut off for Day 2? Quote

I was pretty shocked when I checked my results from yesterday. My guys finished in: 1, 9, 25, 29, 54. This landed me in the 97th percentile somehow, so lots of guys must be having a rough event. Super User scaleface Posted April 12, 2019 Super User Posted April 12, 2019 Yesterday I had 4 anglers in the top 35 and 1 in the top 10 . Today, 2 guys in the top 35 and 0 in the top 20 . Quote
Super User Jrob78 Posted April 12, 2019 Super User Posted April 12, 2019 I had a pretty decent day yesterday but today was much tougher, still have 2 guys going tomorrow but I bet my score dropped 200 points. Quote
Super User MIbassyaker Posted April 12, 2019 Super User Posted April 12, 2019 Tougher day here, too...got just two going tomorrow, Crews & Williamson. Quote
SWVABass Posted April 13, 2019 Posted April 13, 2019 According to basstrack right now I have 3 in the top 10, we’ll see how the day plays out Quote
OCdockskipper Posted April 13, 2019 Posted April 13, 2019 I was looking at the standings for this event & EBBass (from our group) is in 6th place, only 35 points out of first. He has Cantebury, Crews & Kreiger fishing tomorrow, so he has some shots to move up. The linchpin will be big bass & big bag. The person in first has Blaylock, who will get 40 more points if his big bag from today holds up. There are 3 or 4 people who have Williamson with Big Bass, again with 40 points if it holds up. So to win the BPS gift card, EBBass needs to have his three guys take big bass & big bag. It works out better if it is split (one guys gets big bass, another gets big bag), but I think if the same angler does both, it may still be enough to push him into the winners circle. Good luck tomorrow!! 2 Quote
SWVABass Posted April 13, 2019 Posted April 13, 2019 Haha @OCdockskipper I was looking at that too. By far the best showing ive ever had. Hopefully one of the three will have a break out day like Clunn did in fl earlier this year. And to think I filled my team in 9 hours before blast off!! 1 Quote
Abby Posted April 13, 2019 Posted April 13, 2019 I am surprised I have 3,5,and 10..But sadly also 71.... Quote
SWVABass Posted April 13, 2019 Posted April 13, 2019 @OCdockskipper looking at it more closely I would need Canterbury to catch big bag and bass as the leader also has crews and Kreiger who I do as well. If someone could do it Scott is more than capable Quote

If someone could do it Scott is more than capable That makes sense. I don't see Blalock falling down 7 or 8 positions to cough up the points you need to catch him. If Cantebury gets Big bag & wins the tournament (and Crews & Kreiger improve a spot or two), that might be enough to squeak in for a win, barely. And please tell me you are a BASS member so you get a 3K BPS gift card instead of $2500... Quote
SWVABass Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 I am a bass memeber and that would help to offset the cost of a new iPhone I had to buy after last weeks NMBFN qualifiers ? Quote

SWVABass Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 @MIbassyaker not sure if it’s enough to take bb but he’s a lb up on Blaylock I dunno how accurate that is got my fingers crossed Quote
SWVABass Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 Ended up in 29th after all the bonus points were input Quote

SWVABass Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 @OCdockskipper yea I was pretty much locked on live today haha. Now to see how bad I can screw up lake fork lol. In the top 900 or so overall. I could use a boat!!! i ended up 13 in the tw group wonder if they give out anything for that? 2 Quote
