Now my paddle is always leashed to the yak unless I am washing it..... I always wondered about rods stowed in a tube on a trailer. Trailers tend to bounce around a lot and if rods are inside the tube without anything to cushion them, I'd be concerned about damaging the rods. A lot of people use them so I guess it's not an issue.... That's why im not really using mine, I'm often fishing remote places on dirt/gravel road Quote
TimberTodd Posted January 24, 2019 Posted January 24, 2019 I also use rod socks reel covers. I usually bring 3-4 rods in the yak. I will remove the rod socks at the ramp but leave the reel covers on till I use that setup. A couple of rod wraps keeps everything together on the way to the lake. Quote
GeekOutdoors Posted January 27, 2019 Posted January 27, 2019 I'm surprised that no people seems to use the ceiling rack in their SUV/wagon... This is really working well Quote
