Hello, I plan to ice fish a small shallow lake this coming weekend. Never fished crappie before this past fall. I know where they were before the water temp went below 55. Should I look for them in the deep along dock structure or shallow along the weeds. Dock is 12' or so... weeds about 5' and max depth is 16' . Lake is about 58 acre and seems loaded with crappie.

Thanks!

Shouldn’t be too hard to find then.  I’d start on the weed edges and then move to the “basin” and keep popping holes and moving around until you find them.

Try hanging two marabou jigs about a 1' apart, over the main lake break or channel edge.
