Mjmj Posted January 20, 2019 Posted January 20, 2019 Is it worth the 10 day boat quarantine to fish here? Quote
Super User Gundog Posted January 20, 2019 Super User Posted January 20, 2019 I fished there once from shore and got blanked. Just a quick search on the web says there are good bass in there but this is rumor. If you're curious and don't want to spend the $100 bucks for a yearly mooring spot ($150 for non-county residents) you could always rent a boat & TM for a couple hours and give it a go. Quote
YoTone Posted January 20, 2019 Posted January 20, 2019 ive been contemplating doing that with my kayak. as you know the other areas near green lane get pounded and if you go to any decent lake in the summer its a zoo with boat traffic. theres nothing worse than going to a spot youve been wanting to fish just to find theres someone fishing it and another boat waiting to fish it after him. the fees are kinda a hard pill to swallow as well. if you do, and ever want some company pick me pick me! ive heard the fishing can be very good with some decent smallies in the mix. Mjmj Posted January 20, 2019 Author Posted January 20, 2019 Spending the money doesn't bother me as much as losing my boat for 10 days. Just want to loose my boat and $150 . Just to fish dead waters. If i do go and don't have any passengers, I'll give you a shout @YoTone 1 Quote
