johnD. Posted May 7, 2020 Posted May 7, 2020 The 100's are some of the smoothest Tatulas I own. I had a SLX and SLX XT , both got geary feeling pretty quick. Tatula 100's and CT's remain smooth. Just my experience. Like somebody mentioned above the 100's can be had for around $110. 1 Quote

My SLX is the same way, you can hear it from the back of the boat- and like his mine has nothing to do with improper lubrication nor abuse. 1 Quote

I've been holding off on adding any modern Shimanos to my arsenal until this issue was fixed. I had assumed this was in the past and newer platform were immune. On my I it wasnt the gears but the pinion bearing. After greasing that good it was smooth again. Quote
