Abby Posted January 17, 2019 Posted January 17, 2019 Gambler Lures has a punch kit on their site. Looked like a pretty good deal. I bought a kit from them a year or so ago and it was great. Quote
Super User Choporoz Posted January 17, 2019 Super User Posted January 17, 2019 Two skirts and eleven bags of plastics for $50? http://www.gambler-lures.com/Punching_Essentials_Gear_Up_p/gub9.htm Not unreasonable, if the plastics are good. Only Gamblers I recall using are some paddle tails and flukes, so I have no idea if the flipping stuff is good. Quote
Fishing_FF Posted January 17, 2019 Posted January 17, 2019 The bags of plastics are all in the $4-$5 range. The dry bag goes for $19.99 if purchased separately. Both the BB cricket and crawdaddy work well for flipping cover when the fish want something smaller (than like a flappy daddy or why not) or less action (than an ugly otter or burner craw). The quick change skirts are nice, but lack the bulk of a good 55 strand punch skirt like what Mike from @Siebert Outdoors makes. I'm not a fan of the paddle tails for flipping as if I'm going to flip a worm, I prefer a true stickbait (usually a Senko, sometimes a Gambler ace). 1 Quote
Super User Montanaro Posted January 17, 2019 Super User Posted January 17, 2019 So are you asking a question? Im a gambler addict but never used the punch skirts. Need to start using them more. If you havr questions about any of the items let me know. Quote
keagbassr Posted January 18, 2019 Posted January 18, 2019 I needed more plastics like a hole in my head. But looked like a good deal so I bit. Also I used code 'GOFISH' for 10% off so I got it for $40 Quote
Super User MIbassyaker Posted January 18, 2019 Super User Posted January 18, 2019 First thing I checked was to see if the kit has burner craws......Yup! Great pitching craw. Quote
