I'll chime in too, I guess.

Moved to Maryville 5 and a half years ago by way of South Florida and Long Island.  I'm a kayak fisherman. When I moved here I found it to be the least expensive way to get on the water (besides bank fishing). I also have a bass boat that needs electronics, new seats and probably a new carb. So, it just sits there taking up space. I fish mainly on Loudoun because it's close. I sometimes venture out to other lakes though. I'd like to float some rivers in the near future.

Anyone in the middle Tn area have any idea where to get a new axle for a trailer? Or if anyone that is capable of fixing a boat trailer with a broken axle?

They have axles at places like tractor supply and northern tool and equipment. Also anywhere that works on semi trailers can do all the work for you. There’s a lot around Knoxville with the word “trailer “ in the name of their company

This the only trailer dealer I’m aware of.  They say on their web site that they do not stock boat trailer part but can order the most generic boat trailer parts.  If you don’t find a better option you could give them a call.  They might be able to help or point you in the right direction.  They are just minutes from Old Hickory Lake so I’m sure you would not be the first boater to contact them.

I’m down! Do you fish watauga lake? Might be dodgy in a yak but it’s full of monsters

Yeah I fish watauga. It's just gotta pick your spots that you launch from due to how big it is. Lol. With a boat it's an awesome lake.

My wife and I are heading to Chickamauga this October.  I'm super excited about this trip.  It will be my first Tn trip.

Be forewarned, it’s shallow and one of the most crowded fishing holes in the USA. Loaded with monster fish but they are smart

October is my favorite month to fish that lake, it's been known to produce 11 lbers on a booyah poppin pad crasher ?

Norris, Cherokee, & Douglas for me. Occasionally I get to Chick and Watts Bar but most for crappie or frog fishing in the fall.
