Yeah I make so many of my own baits already, I've just been putting off making spinnerbaits because they're expensive to get into. I got enough orders almost immediately when I started making these that I already covered my expenses though so it worked out pretty well. 3 Quote

I was dirt poor back then. Got the old do it mold out of mothballs and poured a few spinnerbaits this year. surprisingly the components don't cost much more than they did back then. Ball bearing swivels used to be like buying gold. now they are fairly cheap. only problem is the largest cavity is 1/2 oz. would like to make some 1 oz. baits. Those are nice looking. I noticed the blades get pricey when you get to the bigger sizes. Its pricey, but if you look at a good Quality 1oz. spinnerbait they are up around $10.00 or more. Plus finding one with a single colorado blade is tough. 1 Quote
