Everstart Maxx now in Black instead of Yellow?

Went to our local WalMart and found the Maxx battery that many people have commented on here and it seems that it's now in Black and not the Yellow that most people are describing. Is this just the case in our area (upstate NY)? Wondering if they switch suppliers/manufactures?

Thanks - just wondering - all the cc, amp, rm, etc.  seemed the same as the yellow but curious to know if they we're up to something.

I bought one last year in Maine and it was black as well.

I exchanged mine last week .  The sitcker on the battery says made 04/08.  Mine is yellow.

kb here   bought two trolling motor batterys they were yellow  said on sticker   4/08.   said on side they were a deepcycle,and starting battery at wllyworld    $73.68 eachkb

  May depend on who makes it.  I used to work at Delco Battery plant. Us , JCI and Excide were all making batteries for wal-mart.

 I used to love it when people found out I worked there. They would say I wont buy and AC Delco ,I buy Die Hard or I only buy Delco I wouldnt buy a wal mart battery.   Then I got to tell them all 3 were the same battery and we built all 3.
