Super User Sam Posted January 7, 2019 Author Super User Posted January 7, 2019 It rained and the field may be wet for tonight's game. If so, it will be interesting to see which quarterback and running backs will react when they make their cuts. Quote

Easy, they win their division.Parity in the division allows that.It happens, has happened in other conferences over the years as wll as the Sec.Division teams beat each other up.Sure it's embarrassing but it happens sometimes when conferences are down.Have you not payed attention to the Sec West dominance over the Sec East in recent years? I don't think a 6 loss team has ever made the SEC championship game. I could be wrong though Quote

I pick Alabama based on their quarterback and team speed. Clemson has a freshman quarterback, and although he can really throw that football, he does not have the experience of reading defenses and making changes at the line. And Coach Saban and his defensive staff do an outstanding job of hiding defenses and making last minute changes to confuse their opponent. If you want, you can also pick the winner between Eastern Washington and North Dakota State. I have no idea about either team. This one should be a good game, too. So I will pick North Dakota State. You say what???????? I say - although I'm not an avid college football fan - Clemson's Freshman QB is looking pretty Stout ! A-Jay (why is this 'hidden' ? ) 1 1 Quote

Super User Sam Posted January 8, 2019 Author Super User Posted January 8, 2019 Wow! What a surprise. A freshman quarterback beats the best team in the world. Go figure. I had it all wrong. I was sure Bama was going to prevail. Congrats to Clemson. I know a lot of teams who will be studying the video of that game for next year. Now its on to baseball in February. 2 Quote
