Get better soon. And stubborn lol. I guess I kept trying to rip out my lung tube that was keeping me alive and all the hoses taped to me along with a catheter I almost ripped it all out or off but it took a bunch of nurses to hold me down I guess. I don’t remember any of it other than once I was up trying to lose the neck brace. But yeah took a 99 F150 on the side of 390s @50mph which sent me 60yards down the road. 1 Quote

Thats my goal i think I’ll be good to go my recovery so fars been ahead of schedule other than walking they want me to keep weight off my legs/hips/pelvis while all the plates and screws are setting in my pelvis. Supposed to go January 22nd to see when I can try walking and being more active. 3 Quote

Apparently I tried ripping out the catheter also but didn’t get to but almost lol glad they stopped that one. I was fighting everything they had me hooked up to they had to pin me down with 5 people and then strap me to the bed. All kinds of stubborn when trying to get healed up. Quote
Super User J Francho Posted January 11, 2019 Super User Posted January 11, 2019 I can totally see you being a pain, lol. 1 Quote

I’ve got 1 more occupational therapy left to get test to see if I can drive again since I’ve passed all the other tests with flying colors she cut my last 3 appointments of the schedule. I’m just waiting on getting cleared to walk again on the 22nd and I can start physical therapy more than what they have me doing at home. Hopefully won’t be much longer that I’m out of everything. 5 Quote

Reel Assassin Posted January 21, 2019 Posted January 21, 2019 Thank G_d you have recovered! Someone was watching over you. As someone who has had a near death experience I can say it changes your perspective on things. My short term memory still all these years later is not perfect bit I am blessed to be alive. We all have to appreciate today as tomorrow is not guaranteed. Prayers for you and yours! 1 Quote

Super User clayton86 Posted January 23, 2019 Author Super User Posted January 23, 2019 Just got X-rays and word from the doctor today that bolted me back together that I’m good to go for walking. Now to start small and rebuild my legs to put up with some of the conditions that and my lungs could probably use some work to after pneumonia and the one being deflated in the wreck. 4 Quote

After what you've been through, this is good news. One thing at a time and you'll be back in no time. Stay strong. Quote
