Looks like I am going to break my New Year's resolution before the we even start.

I am looking for input on a flipping/pitching stick.  Any input is appreciated.

Thanks

Al

How heavy of weights are you looking to throw? And price point?

Given we don't have the salad of the south, I suspect  around an ounce and I love my GLX'S...I am just not sure that it has to be that sensitive.  I am more concerned about balance

One of my favorite rods for throwing up to an ounce weight and jig is the dobyns fury 735 and 765 flip. Have also been looking at the Powell endurance 775. If you like a shorter rod the 7'3 heavy Lews tp-1 speed stick is really nice for about $100

IMO the 735 Fury with be undergunned for flipping. I'd recommend the 765 Dobyns Champion, Dobyns DX 746, Dobyns DX 795, and 894C GLX FPR. Plus the Curado and Zodias rod series have a few good options. It all comes down to intended lures/weights, preferences and budget.

Don't understand the first part?

You want know balance until you put a reel on it, string it up, & hang an ounce weight off of it.
