Super User S Hovanec Posted December 24, 2018 Super User Posted December 24, 2018 I'm teaching a rodbuilding class shortly. With a large class comes the necessity to dry multiple rods at once. Having only 2 motors and a power wrapper, I was tasked with building a dryer capable of turning 12 rods. Actually, having 36 signed up, I need to turn 3x that many! A small drum-dryer is what I needed.........actually 3! It also needed to be portable. With the help of a friend with a 3d printer to make some parts not on the market.....yet, i finished the first one this morning. I still need to apply felt to the cut-outs on the discs. 1 Quote
