Hawkeye21 Posted December 20, 2018 Posted December 20, 2018 I prefer wearing flex fit hats as I occasionally like to wear my hat backwards and hate how snap back hats look that way. Quote

Smalls Posted December 20, 2018 Posted December 20, 2018 I wear a hat 99.9% of the time I’m awake, and it’s always a fitted New Era. I wish a few tackle companies would offer one, but I realize the issues with offering 30 different sizes. Quote
Super User Team9nine Posted December 21, 2018 Super User Posted December 21, 2018 Hat snob here Wear a non-structured, low profile soft cloth fishing logo'ed ball cap most every second of the day that I'm awake, but I'm extremely picky about fit and "feel." Have literally only worn a handful over the past 30 years as I find one I like and then wear it exclusively until it simply wears out. Currently have a Bass Pro hat that "fits the bill" and is going on 2 years old - just getting broke in Only exception to this is that I do have and wear a Sunday Afternoon SPF hat (like tander posted above) out on the water from about April until September. Have had several spots frozen or cut off over the past 8 years or so, so finally got a little more serious about hatwear while on the water. 1 Quote
Super User scaleface Posted December 21, 2018 Super User Posted December 21, 2018 My outdoor research sombriolet and my lucky St louis Cardinals hat. Check out that beer coozie in the first photo . 2 Quote
tholmes Posted December 21, 2018 Posted December 21, 2018 Full brim with neck shield. Skin cancer is NOT fun. Tom Quote
BrackishBassin Posted December 21, 2018 Posted December 21, 2018 Short trips, I wear a baseball cap and a buff. Longer stuff, I wear a Tilly and a buff. The hat was pretty expensive, but it’s got a lifetime guarantee, and it floats. Quote
Super User Koz Posted December 21, 2018 Super User Posted December 21, 2018 I used to wear my Gamecocks cap, BPS cap, or my Yankees cap but by the end of they were drenched in sweat. I switched over to a Huk Kryptek stretch cap and it breathes much better than my other ballcaps. I also started using a gaiter more often than not. I'd like to switch to a wide brimmed outdoor hat but I haven't yet found one that I like. Quote
Super User NorthernBasser Posted December 21, 2018 Super User Posted December 21, 2018 Love the TW flex fit hats. Jut noticed that have them marked down to $11 right now for the 25 Days of Saving sale (reg. $20), but they're all sold out. They're black, but they breath quite well. Quote
KDW96 Posted December 21, 2018 Posted December 21, 2018 Most of the time, its a lite colored ballcap. When its really hot,i use a widebrim. Quote

Lead Head Posted December 22, 2018 Posted December 22, 2018 Real deal Brazil tarp hat... its surprisingly very lightweight and covers well. If I lost it today I would buy another one tomorrow. That's about the best endorsement I can give. 1 Quote

Looks funny, but it works. Wise is the man who puts his health before fashion. Am I the only one or have any of you had the setting sun sunburn on the back of your head from a cap with an adjustable strap ? It never fails. Right after a hair cut in the first sunny days of spring. Quote
