junyer357 Posted December 12, 2018 Posted December 12, 2018 Anyone use these much yet? What kind of confirmed depths? Seem to work like a standard 1.5 only deeper? Quote
Super User fishballer06 Posted December 12, 2018 Super User Posted December 12, 2018 Haven't used one, but I'm sure it's just like any other DD 1.5 squarebill. Probably 4-7' depending on line size and length of cast. Quote
junyer357 Posted December 12, 2018 Author Posted December 12, 2018 Im going to be disapointed if its only 7' max. Supposed to go to 9-10'. Looking for one to run similar depths as a middle-n. Quote
Tizi Posted December 12, 2018 Posted December 12, 2018 I purchased one from TW to try out, it will be arriving today. Quote
Comfortably Numb Posted December 13, 2018 Posted December 13, 2018 For me cranks never go as deep as they say unless trolled. Take about 20% off advertised depths on a long cast. So 8' sounds about right. Quote
junyer357 Posted December 13, 2018 Author Posted December 13, 2018 I normally have no problem getting a crank close to max depth on 10# flouro. I normally get 8-9 out of a middle-n. Im still looking to see if anyone has actually used these yet, not just speculation. I have a few and the weather is killing me, raining on weekends preventing me from going. Quote
Super User FishTank Posted December 21, 2018 Super User Posted December 21, 2018 I have a few and I had mixed results. First they don't go to the depth it specifies and second I haven't really caught much with them. I have had better luck with Norman's DD22. Quote
