What paint would you use to duplicate a gold War Eagle spinnerbait? Is it specific to fishing tackle or will any old hardware store metallic gold work?

Thanks.

That paint does not exist. War Eagle uses a plated head, what you are after has been sought by others for decades. There are metallic paints out there but nothing will come close to the plated head you are trying to get.

Take a look at Createx Quicksilver Chrome top coat #4105 at Barlows Tackle.

This isn't a plating, it's paint.
