Super User Oregon Native Posted December 8, 2018 Super User Posted December 8, 2018 Met a friend yesterday morning at the ramp....I was there a bit early (daylight) and water temps were still in the low 50's!! Air temp...low 30's. Water was so quiet...fish were moving and chasing in spots....awesome. Only saw one other boat all day and they were going into the backs of cove's I believe looking for ducks. Fishing was good....looking for bass and caught everything...even had a double on nice whites. At one time the whites were so thick the A-rig could hardly sink they were pounding it so much....crazy. Now...will see what this storm brings....can't fish as have a couple basketball games to go to...which is cool too. Tight Lines 5 Quote
Global Moderator TnRiver46 Posted December 8, 2018 Global Moderator Posted December 8, 2018 Good deal. I haven’t got on a big school of whites in a while, freezer is getting lean. Might have to leave the main river and come your way soon 1 Quote
Super User Oregon Native Posted December 9, 2018 Author Super User Posted December 9, 2018 Please....told a friend he has to get rid of those rodent's..... Don't like to put em in the boat as they poop everywhere....but they are fun and pretty. Fins just glow in the water...pretty. Should be awesome after all this rain...they go shallow. Quote
Super User Oregon Native Posted December 12, 2018 Author Super User Posted December 12, 2018 Was out again yesterday....saw one other boat that beat us to the ramp....wintertime competition!!! Guess they were crappie fishing. High bluebird sky's made for some tougher fishing but went deep and found joy. Along towards eve the whites started chasing so some education was done here too.
