Super User NYWayfarer Posted December 10, 2018 Super User Posted December 10, 2018 Fake. I could never celebrate the season of life by killing a tree. Quote
lo n slo Posted December 11, 2018 Posted December 11, 2018 we always had a real tree, used to load up the kids and the dog, head to the tree farm and get a 12 footer, do all the trimmings. that was quite a few years ago, then last year the wife wanted to try one of those pre-lit trees. these things are great! 10 minutes to set it up and it’s surprisingly realistic. i rig the ornaments for her and she does the rest. no going back. BigAngus752 Posted December 11, 2018 Posted December 11, 2018 My Xmas tree is as real as my wife's ta-tas. So....not so much. Quote
Super User NorcalBassin Posted December 11, 2018 Super User Posted December 11, 2018 Real. Family tradition and the scent it adds to the house kickstarts the season. 2 Quote

Not to exciting loading the grandkids & going to Wally World tree hunting! 1 Quote
Super User Way2slow Posted December 11, 2018 Super User Posted December 11, 2018 Can't find a real tree that's White, and for the past 15 years, that's the only type of tree my wife has wanted. White fake makes my life much simpler also because we could never agree on which type real tree. I always like the cedar trees, and could go out on a land and find a really nice one. She didn't like the cedar, she always favored the spruce out of Canada, which is more than apt to be a limb than a tree. Quote

Super User Boomstick Posted December 13, 2018 Super User Posted December 13, 2018 I have a small house so I pretty much have to get a fake one to get one small enough, which is good enough for me, no point in wasting trees for a once a year holiday imo Quote
