50# pink Ande mono is my #1 choice for leader when I fish with trolled live bait for saltwater stripers.  We only switch to flouro if they seem line shy.

I haven't used 8#, but based on my experiences, I wouldn't hesitate to give it a try

It's fairly similar to BG. Good for BCs, a bit stiff for spinning. We use it a lot in the salt. Ande tournament is a bit softer and comes in green, but it's more $.

used it for years, still use it mostly 10 lb. for light crankbaiting.never on spinning, has tendency to coil up.any color will do.really strong line.

Ande Premium 8 lb is .011dia.,equal to most brands 10 lb test, high memory line. Ande holds of lots of line class world records back in the 80's.

I use their 20 lbs for braid to leader quite a bit.

I was on the fence because it's super cheap and I'd never heard of it.  Can't vouch for it as main line, but it makes a super durable leader line.

Since I ordered 600 yards, it'll likely be passed down to my grandkids some day.
