just pulled up to my favorite pond. It’s gonna be 43 out and sunny, just wanted to get out for a couple hours in the sun for a change. The pond is completely skimmed over with ice wasn’t expecting that lol. Off to find another one.

I had the same thing happen to me last weekend. This pond I like is usually hot in October and November, but when I got there the pond was iced over.

That's all sadness right there!!!

I feel ya. The lake near my house is being drained and all the fish miles due to zebra mussels.

The other nearby small like I like to frequent has ice 10 or so feet out of all the banks.

It rained on Sunday and Monday. Along with 40+ degrees mine is probably back to open water now. Looks like I’ll get a few more chances.

This is how I'm planning my life right now! ?  It's 18 at night and I'm watching the lakes skim over right now...BUT Saturday is 50 degrees and 90% chance of rain.  So it's a battle.  Maybe ice out on Sunday for a little bank fishing.  Where can I move to that it's always fishing weather?
