I noticed Lindner's Angling Edge has their set of 16 Bass related DVD's on sale as a set - anybody watched these and found them informative?  Or are they just re-hashes of the In-Fisherman Bass Fishing DVDs from previous years?

Yeah, but it's a nice break from fat guys in listing boats, besides, where else are you going to get good jerk bait techniques and spiritual advise from a lawn gnome?...

Anything you can watch and take notes will help you in some way in the future.

Although the host has a thick New England accent, he does have some good suggestions and tips.

However, there are other DVDs on the market from the pros about specific topics, techniques and baits that you may wish to investigate. Check out Google for bass fishing DVD's and also see what you can watch on YouTube.

I am sending you a PM about one program you may be interested in purchasing as I don't think it is "legal" on the Forum to mention this other program.

Read, read and read.  Watch DVS's. And read, read and read. Take notes and keep them in a three ring binder for future reference.

Have a fun Thanksgiving.

@A-Jay would be offended. LOL The Linders have a very thick northern Midwest accent.

LOL I almost spit out my water when I read that. I never thought about it but you're right! All he needs is a shovel, tobacco pipe, and red pointy hat and he's a gnome for sure!

To the OP I find their shows very informative if you can get past the infomercial (which I get). You can't go wrong buying it.

I like the show.  I do agree with @12poundbass about the infomercial part, sometimes it sounds like the end of a NASCAR race or something "This Abu Garica 7'2" Fast Action Veritas rod paired with this Shimano Curado 8.1 gear ratio spooled with 12lb Berkley Trilene Flurocarbon is working great under these conditions!  I'm not having any trouble staying in place with my Minn Kota Talons, and my back feels great thanks to my Smooth Moves boat seat suspension!"  I understand though, gotta have the sponsors or the show wouldn't happen.  Overall, its a good show and and enjoy it.  If the set was a decent price I'd probably pick it up.

You're a north easterner. LOL

Mighigan, Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota, and Chicago. I'm not sure how some Chicagoans ended up with it but they did. Da Bears!

My wife told me that is how it was around here in TN too.

I laughed it off but have heard it so many times now.

I like the show and their accents are pretty funny, particularly Al's when he gets really worked up. I think it's one of the better multi species fishing shows. I don't think I'd buy a DVD set since everything is on youtube anyway, and a whole first season on Netflix. Unless the DVD's are different.

Al’s “ New England” accent came from Chicago where he grew up.
