volzfan59 Posted March 4, 2019 Posted March 4, 2019 From my understanding, attending the Fishing Expo and the Classic are completely free. I've seen nothing about paying to get in. I'll ask a friend tomorrow, he's been to two Classics. Maybe Glenn or some of the others will chime in. Quote
Super User whitwolf Posted March 5, 2019 Super User Posted March 5, 2019 The Expo and weigh-in are free. Quote
BigSkyBasser Posted March 5, 2019 Author Posted March 5, 2019 Anyone who wants to meet up for fishing before/after the classic should message me so we can exchange info and further coordinate away from this thread. Quote
HeyCoach Posted March 11, 2019 Posted March 11, 2019 Would any of the booths be giving out free stuff? I’m thinking about taking a small cinch bag with me just in case. Quote
BigSkyBasser Posted March 11, 2019 Author Posted March 11, 2019 Made it to TN! Super excited to meet everyone and get my line wet. 1 Quote

Hit Dick's as soon as you enter the venue and get one or two of their large, green bags. No telling what you will find they are giving away. Check out the list of vendors on the Bassmaster Classic Internet site so you can see who will be there: https://bass19.mapyourshow.com/7_0/alphalist.cfm?alpha Have a fun time and let us know what you think about the Expo; the vendors; who you saw or met; what goodies did you get; and what did you buy? Can't wait to read your feedback. Be safe and wear a smile and get ready to rock and roll! 2 hours ago, HeyCoach said: Would any of the booths be giving out free stuff? BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted March 11, 2019 BassResource.com Administrator Posted March 11, 2019 All venues are free, but I think parking is $10 near the weigh-in arena. The expo is a little wonky this year...spread across 3 floors in one building, and continued in another building across the street. Every Classic I've been to that does something like that, makes it easy to miss a lot of vendors. So don't forget there's another exhibition hall across the street! 1 Quote

A little birdie told me Big Bite will be giving away hats. They also have shopping bags if you forget your cinch bag. Quote

If I'm not mistaken, you can access both buildings without crossing a street. This is all the old world's fair site. You just walk under the viaduct. What are the Expo hours? I know that Glenn has said that it opens at 10:00. What time does it close? I can't find it. Found it right after I posted this. Sorry Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted March 11, 2019 BassResource.com Administrator Posted March 11, 2019 Closes 7pm on Friday, 6pm Sat, 4pm on Sunday. Quote
Global Moderator TnRiver46 Posted March 12, 2019 Global Moderator Posted March 12, 2019 I got the pleasure of meeting the OP, @BigSkyBasser, yesterday and showing him around town a little bit. This young man is a go getter, y'all might see him fishing the classic instead of spectating one of thrse days! We ran into a few small schools of these guys amongst all the current. 5 Quote
volzfan59 Posted March 12, 2019 Posted March 12, 2019 I hope he likes our little town. Man, the pro's sure are everywhere. You can't sling a dead cat and not hit a wrapped Tundra hauling a boat! 3 Quote
Global Moderator TnRiver46 Posted March 12, 2019 Global Moderator Posted March 12, 2019 I think our "little" town is big compared to where he hails from Quote
