Caught my new PB Smallie a few weeks ago from my kayak. 22" 5.5lbs. Crushed my previous PB of 16". Yes I used a scale and didnt guess the weight and the fish was released to be caught again. I caught her on a white chatterbait with a small white swimbait trailer. I was sitting up shallow casting into a deep point and slow rolling the chatterbait up the point. I guesstimate she was sitting in 25 feet of water.

She also bent the hell out of my hook.

Beautiful fish brother. Btw invest in some Jack Hammers, you’ll never have to worry about your hooks bending or components failing.

Thanks guys. It was definitly a fish of a life time for Northeast Oklahoma.

Great catch and sportsmans release ! Now think for a moment what that fish will look like during the next spawn, all because she was handled with care and respect !

Nice man. My PB smallie was 22” and weight was 5 3/4lbs.

I’ve never seen one over 22”.

congratulations!

Thanks guys. I'm still pumped about it and we believe there are bigger ones in this particular lake. I plan of fishing the hell out of it next year.
