2tall79 Posted October 25, 2018 Posted October 25, 2018 I was thinking about getting a Lakemaster card for my Helix 7 but as I was looking at the lake list, I didn't see Potholes Reservoir. Could this be? How can they not include what is arguably the most popular lake in Washington? Am I missing something here? I really was looking forward to the water level offset feature that is not found in the Navionics cards. Quote
2tall79 Posted November 7, 2018 Author Posted November 7, 2018 I am pleased to report that I was contacted by a gentleman from Johnson Outdoors who monitors this forum (among others) and saw my post suggesting a lake in Washington be added to the Lakemaster Western Region Card. He seemed genuinely interested in what I had to say and asked all the right questions. He also said they are working to re-instate the "Suggest a Lake" links that went dead with the changing of the guard. I'm very pleased with the response and service shown by HB/JohnsonOutdoors and have renewed hope that there will be new lakes added from Washington in the near future. Quote
zeth Posted December 4, 2018 Posted December 4, 2018 Why buy lakemaster card? They suck get the latest maps using chart select or fish smart app Quote
2tall79 Posted December 4, 2018 Author Posted December 4, 2018 Their water level offset feature makes them worth the price....IMHO. Quote
Super User Tennessee Boy Posted December 4, 2018 Super User Posted December 4, 2018 Their water level offset feature works with the card or if you download the maps. Like @zeth I prefer to download the maps instead of buying the card but it does require tinkering with technology that some folks may find difficult. Quote
2tall79 Posted December 4, 2018 Author Posted December 4, 2018 You mean I can download a map of a lake that's not on their list of lakes? How? Quote
