Super User iceintheveins Posted October 22, 2018 Super User Posted October 22, 2018 I mounted a Helix 5 DI on my trolling motor a few days ago. The problem has been it very often displays a double echo, so the displayed depth is not the actual depth, but is showing what the false bottom is as depth. My other Helix 5 SI does not have this issue. Sometimes, it doesn't do this. But most of the time does. I'm fishing a deep, steep dropping canyon lake, does this have anything to do with it? If it did, why is my other unit (transducer on transom) not doing this? How do I adjust this or deal with it? Quote
Harold Scoggins Posted October 22, 2018 Posted October 22, 2018 I have the same unit. Have you tried adjusting the sensitivity? Quote
Super User J Francho Posted October 22, 2018 Super User Posted October 22, 2018 Turn the sensitivity down. Quote
Super User iceintheveins Posted October 23, 2018 Author Super User Posted October 23, 2018 Sensitivity is only 10 or 12. Tried it, didn't work. Quote
