Using Deep Creep decarb.

I going to try and decarb my motor with Deep Creep in the next day or so. I'm going to do this with the muffs on and I'm alittle hesitant about it for the fear of buring something up. Should I have a steady stream of water coming out of the pee hole and if I dont  would that mean not enough water?I tried doing this last year but I got scared and bailed.any other suggestions on using this product? If it makes any difference I have an '84 150 Merc.
