I always give them majority trend credit into the acceptance of all brightly colored rods we have now.

I don't have any and doubt I ever will.

Green’s already taken.  Charlie Moore, a local sports show host up here in Boston, has his own fishing show and rod/reel line.  They’re VERY green.

Didn’t Charlie use carrot sticks back in the day???

In all fairness if good rod handling practices were followed to the letter they'd  probably be fine. The only incident I have first hand knowledge of was a tx partner that high sticked his rod trying to get a snag free. But as usual it was blamed on a crappy rod. Deserved or not their rep is ruined so I stand by my original comment.

Number 1 cause of blank failure.

You can build your own or have someone make you a custom and forever avoid them.

I think they are one of those fishing things that comes out, it causes some buzz, it's found to be not all that it's hyped to be, and eventually the fishing world moves on.

Bought a wild wild green one beginning of this year. 7’ MH. Paid $129.99 plus $12 S&H for it. Second time on the lake with it I set the hook on a bass fishing a Snagless Sally and…yep…snap!

Had a wild wild orange do the same thing.

I guess if you’re lucky enough to get a good one they’re good rods. They are very sensitive. Excellent sensitivity for worming and jiggling etc.

We shall see if I can get it exchanged.

The whole orange look of the rod, I don't think I've seen a uglier rod tbh

Agreed.  I grew up with the idea that white rods are bad luck and they summon the lake omen.  I thought it was funny as a kid but I have truly come to not like white rods.

Wasn't this guy sponsored by Carrot Stix a few years ago when he had that "Beat Charlie Moore" show?

None of this company's 14 year history has been very favorable, other than their introduction at iCast in 2007.  I know guys that invested heavily in the rods early on, and they didn't hold up.  I've seen at least a dozen snap right in front of me, sometimes just on the cast.  They can paint them whatever color they want, I'm not buying.  The best part is trying to find the site.  This is all I can come up with, other than a bunch of bogus hype and bad reviews:

And they're EVERYWHERE on Ebay.

Supply chain issues, I'm sure.

Oh definitely. Took me 3 weeks to get a Denali Rod from the site and I live 15 miles away.
